Novitá released seven new Tridon® replacement-flashers to auto-parts dealers in May. The new designs increase the brand exposure for the Hendersonville, TN-based electronics manufacturer worldwide.

Novitá's flasher replacements, which operate a vehicle's turn-signals, hazards and other lights, now cover 93% of US vehicles, increasing Novitá's market leadership in the replacement flasher market. Tridon® patented designs are manufactured exclusively in the US.

"Our releases are good news for the auto parts industry because they increase our customers' access to quality, American-made electronics," said Mike Incorvaia, Novitá President. "Our Tridon® products last twice as long as Asian copies, and now we have a bigger presence in auto parts markets where customers can buy flasher replacements at a reasonable cost."

The new flashers provide additional coverage for Jeep, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Ford, Mercury and Mazda. Consumers can purchase the flashers, which typically require replacement about every five years, at auto-parts retailers and at car dealerships.

Tridon® patented technology allows its lighting control modules to last more than twice as long as their competitors, according to a 2008 independent test. The seven new flashers are designed to last even longer. One of the new modules, the LL552, also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Novitá ships its Tridon® flashers to 25 countries, as it has world-wide brand acceptance. "In some countries, our name brand, Tridon®, is interchangeable with the word flasher, just as IPod is interchangeable with MP3 player," said Incorvaia.

Novitá has been a leader in the flasher aftermarket ­ replacement market ­ since 1975 and is the only manufacturer and supplier in the US aftermarket with the most products made exclusively in the US.
